HRH Prince Philip received his CAF Honorary badge and wings at Buckingham Palace- from WW2 RAF Air ace Group Captain Douglas Bader.
HRH The Duke Of Edinburgh inspects the CAF pilot line-up at RAF Wellesbourne Mountford UK. Prince Philip was a Honorary CAF Colonel and was presented his honorary colonel membership by Group Captain Sir Douglas Bader, CBE, DSO & Bar, DFC & Bar, DL, FRAeS.... who was also great supporter and CAF Colonel.
Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma- Was also a CAF Colonel and supporter of the CAF.
