This rare surviving C54 Skymaster, which has WW2 , Korea and Vietnam service history, is going to be put back in the air where she belongs by the C-54 Save the Skymaster Society -
Over the 4th July Weekend, volunteers and enthusiasts met at the historic "Skymaster" at North Weald Airfield UK. This magnificent historic plane is in need of your support to keep her from melting away into the history books. The proud veteran of WW2 Pacific theater action, Korean War service and Vietnam War service is the sole surviving example of its type in the world with such a service history. Help the "Save the Skymaster "Group get her airborne once more where she deserves to be. To Tell the proud history of the Air Transport Command, as a living history flying exhibit.

She last flew some 12 years ago and has been parked up ever since. The airframe was pristine when it arrived for a starring role in a movie about the Berlin Airlift, unfortunately the movie was dropped and the aircraft stayed behind in the UK.
Help the "Save the Skymaster" group in whatever way you can, to save this great historic warbird from the smelting pot.
