An action packed weekend at the MVT "Wicksteed at War 2021 " show Kettering.. Great to see the WW1 Mk IV tank run. It was joined by the Oshkosh tank transporter and Warrior AFV from the British Army , along with hundreds of civilian owned ex-military vehicles from WW2 to modern times. From the earliest motor transport of WW1 to the latest current issue equipment... Plenty to see at the show..
Many historical re-enactment and living history displays as well as the usual trade area and display stands.
"Wicksteed At War 2021". Superb weather really brought out the crowds and a whole host of interesting military displays from around the UK. Thanks to all the MVT (Military Vehicle Trust) South East Midlands area volunteers and the staff at Wicksteed Park for staging the 2021 WAW event despite all the challenges earlier in the year.
MVT organiser Tim Hawkes commented "Fantastic weekend for everyone at the MVT Wicksteed at War show this weekend. Around 18,000 visitors to the show. Thanks to all of you that support both these events. Provisional dates for next year June 11th-12th 2022."
